Trout Stocking Report: January 9, 2021.

On Friday January 8th, we stocked 600 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows, browns, brooks, tigers and golden trout. The average size of 14 to 16 inches. Above average 17 to 18 inches and bigger trout, rainbows and brooks were 18 to 22 inches.

The 2021 membership renewals were mailed out. If you haven’t received your new lease forms for the 2021 season, please contact me ASAP. The new gate key took effect on January 1, 2021.

The waiting list for future membership is now going into the year 2024/2025. If your interested, email or text to my cell phone your home mailing address. 412-309-1155.

Trout Stocking Report: December 5, 2020.

On Friday December 4th, we stocked 570 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of all rainbows with the normal average size of 14 to 16 inches. The bigger rainbows, over 200 fish, were 18 to 24 inches and pushing near 6lbs.

The 2021 membership renewals were mailed out. If you haven’t received your new lease forms for the 2021 season, please contact me ASAP. The new gate key will take effect on January 1, 2021. If your not rejoining for the 2021 season, please contact me so I can proceed with new members.

I want to wish everyone a SAFE and Happy Holidays after this crazy, changeling, learning experience year. Hopefully with the faith in God that we can get through this situation and have a much better 2021 season. As far as YCTI, we are looking forward to even better year…

On Friday November 20th, we stocked 290 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of all rainbows between 14 to 16 inches at a 2 lbs average and the bigs went 20 to 21 inches, with a 4 lbs average.

On Friday October 2nd, we stocked 340 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows, browns, and brook trout all betweeen 14 to 16 inches.

We will be stocking again on Friday October 16th, approximately the same number of trout but a littlw bigger in sizes.

On Friday May 1st, we stocked 300 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows 16 to 20 inches, browns 16 to 20 inches, brooks 12 to 18 inches, tigers 15 to 20 inches, and golden trout 13 to 14 inches.

There is no word on The 4th Annual Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Tournament at this time. Updates will be only posted on the YCTI NEWS feed on its webiste.

The 11th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fly Fishing Classic has been cancelled for the 2020 year calendar. CFF will be looking forward to returning in April of 2021.

There is no word also at this time for The 18th Annual AKHF Trophy Trout Event. Updates will be only posted on the YCTI NEWS feed on its webiste.

Trout Stocking Report: April 3, 2020.

Dear Club Members and Guests,

On Friday April 3rd, we stocked 300 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows 16 to 20 inches, browns 17 to 20 inches, and brook trout 10 to 13 inches.

The 4th Annual Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Tournament has been postponed for Saturday, April 4, 2020. Possible reschedule for June 2020.

The 11th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fly Fishing Classic has also been postponded for Saturday, April 25 & Sunday, April 26, 2020. Possible reschedule for November 2020.

The 18th Annual AKHF Trophy Trout Event has been also been postponed for Friday, May 1, 2020. There isn’t a date set for a reschedule for 2020 at this time.

Trout Stocking Report: March 7th, 2020.

Dear Club Members and Guests

On Friday March 6th, we stocked 275 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows and brown trout only at 14 to 16 inches. The bigger trout both rainbows and browns were 22 to 25 inches.

The 4th annual Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Tournament will be held at the club on Saturdaay April 4th. 2020 starting at 6am to 5pm.

The 11th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Fly Fishing Classic will be at the club on Saturday, April 25 & Sunday, April 26, 2020: (Sunday: Half the day). There are still spots open for this event if interested on signing up. Call or email for details.

Dear Club Members, Guests and Non-Member Guests, YCTI staff is noticing some bad habits of littering on the club property. Beer cans, candy rappers, cigarette butts, and used hand warmers. Please respect the property and the clubs enviroment, this isn’t public/open waters and please don’t treat like its opening day free for all…

Trout Stocking Report: February 22, 2020.

Dear Club Members and Guests

On Friday February 21st, we stocked 275 fish in the stream. The trout consisted of rainbows and brown trout only at 14 to 15 inches. The bigger trout both rainbow and browns were 20 to 21 inches.

The 4th annual Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Tournament will be held at the club on Saturdaay April 4th. starting at 6am to 5pm. The event will only use 1.5 miles of the trout club waters at most, there will be open water for the members and guests to fish towards the end of the private project.
